The Company

 

The business activities of the family Auriemma in potatoes , nuts are toasted and pulses begin in the fifties with the founder Antonio . The activity was carried out - especially in the box wholesale market of Viale Monastir to Cagliari - until his death in 1970. The activities continued then , successfully , with the help of his wife Anna Maria Improta , until in 1980 one of his sons - Vincenzo - now owner of Fresco Secco with his partner Maurizio Pinna, decided to continue the family business with renewed entrepreneurial impulses.

 

Fresco Secco Srl today is the result of ten years of experience . A company that selects and distributes fruit and vegetables in the range of fresh produce and products dry or dried with spirit and modern forces. It has its origins in Cagliari in Sardinia. The activity takes development from initial marketing of fruit and vegetables yourself initially in Via del Fangario and then at the municipal market citizen .

 

Since 1980, the goal is already clear: to achieve an excellent level of quality and service. The major managerial and operational capacities mean that, in the years to follow , the company requires a considerable expansion, first by doubling and then quadrupling work surfaces first in the Viale Elmas in Cagliari and further via del Lavoro.

 

In 1990, following a further expansion, it starts the activity of production of dried fruit , which is roasted, calibrated and marketed in the new plant . Over the next decade it is a succession of commercial successes and the positive feedback from the market , bringing the property to cultivate the idea of professionalizing even more the production system, packaging and distribution .

 

Rollout Fresco Secco, to offer a solid house, large and ecologically designed throughout production: cold-storage, packaging machinery, quality control and distribution systems effective, allowing to expand more and more and the market opportunities.

 

Today Fresco Secco srl is a solid and structured, which although now best known as a regional leader in the processing and marketing of dried fruit, can safely claim to have a solid background and experience with the full range of fresh fruit and they are growing local, national or international.

 

The company covers an area of ​​over 22,000 square meters - and is based in Sardinia, Cagliari in the industrial area of Macchiareddu. With its wide variety of legumes, nuts and mini snacks , Fresco Secco is emerging as a regional player in the foreground and as a benchmark for the entire industry, both for the high standard of quality guaranteed for both technologies of which is equipped.

 

The production process of Fresco Secco is achieved through systems, able to ensure the highest final yield and compliance with all regulations regarding health and hygiene. Despite the high level of automation, however, each step is carefully monitored also by specialists, to ensure all checks possible. For this, the training of control staff in the production chain is absolutely a priority for the company.

 

The Staff is divided into two departments (of fresh and dry in fact) as a great team of highly skilled professional to achieve a single goal: to create a high quality product. For this year 2010 we have been activated pre audit for ISO 14001 with the consequent improvements on safety, quality and environment, and in the 'year 2011: we obtained ISO 14001 certification.

 

Next goal, which we are already working, is the IFS BRS certification.
